The Nissan R33 Skyline was first introduced in aug 1993. Designed to be heavier than the R32, it was initially available in coupe and sedan bodystyles and featured a new 6-cylinder engine. Arguably the start of really amazing engines in skylines
Modified r33
The r33 skyline is a GTR model and features a 2.6 litre 6 cylinder engine, which has some quite ridiculously fast speeds associated with it. There were models which featured the 2.8ltr RBX-GT2 DOHC (Nismo 400R). Either way modifications are commonplace on r33's.

r33 0-60 in..
With a stock performance engine the gtr33 had 305-400 bhp strait out of the garage so it could achieve some 0-60 times which were almost unseen in such a good value car, modified r33's with huge turbo conversion kits and other engine tuning also broke some of the fastest 0-60s and quarter mile times ever.
Kill a few porches get a GTR33
Please remember that if you are buying a nissan skyline-gtr-33 that you are not dealing with a toy, this is a performance car which can do speeds in excess of 150 mph. To forget this fact and treat the car as a play thing could cost you your life and others thiers. As a result of the speed this car will do you may also find car insurance ludicrisly expensive. Its important to remember this before you pay anything for a car you cant legally drive!

How many turbos..Single turbo? that doesnt mean its slow. Cars like the supra have twin turbos which definately sounds cool but often you will see r33's with simply single turbo's. This really is a preference thing and can make no difference to performance, which in fact is the reason you also see a lot of cars with twin turbos having single turbo conversion kits added - that way you could essentially even strap on say...a lorry turbo!
